What Our customers Are Saying
“When I first was introduced to Syama, all I had was a very general idea and a passion to see it become a reality. Beyond that I had nothing: no direction, no idea of there to start, and no experience in retail. I found myself going back to the same questions and getting stuck in the same places. I didn’t have the resources or knowledge to push past a lot of basic building blocks. Syama really helped me push through that beginning stage of turning an idea into a reality. In a short six months in working with Syama, my vision became a real live store!”– Annie Shafran, Founder, BELLGRAY
As Seen In:
The curriculum opens with a course overview and introduction to Syama. You will then be guided through key modules discussing key elements of your profit plan from cash flow management to direct marketing to developing a CEO mindset.
1.Cash flow managementFinance is the lifeline of any business. Money can help you launch a product, but to keep it on an exponential growth track requires a plan. It, therefore, becomes all the more important to have a planned budget to build upon the brand value of a product. This module covers the basic ways you can plan out your finances in an easy manner and launch your brand with a strong foundation.
2.Beating the competitionCompetition is tough out there. Only those businesses or brands flourish who are able to realize their USPs (unique selling points). Your product might be “special”, but so is your competitor’s. Consumers have plenty of options to choose from and they are looking for something “extra special”. This module helps you find that “extra edge” over your rivals to consistently stay above the competition.
3.Building loyal clienteleUnderstanding the market and prospective customers is vital for any business to thrive and succeed. Consumer is king whose ever-changing needs must be catered to in order to remain relevant. This module will help you successfully tap into traditional market demographics and help you understand your ideal customers’ desires, resulting in not only providing a growing clientele but a loyal one.
4.Right product pricingTo remain a hot property in the market, it is also very important to price yourself realistically. The pricing should be based not on your costs, but the perceived value. This module will break down product assortment planning and help you develop a winning pricing strategy. You’ll get more information on branding and the perceived value in Module 6 on e-commerce.
5.Tapping into wholesaleRetail stores have evolved to become more than just places to buy product. They are one-stop shops for customers to try, buy, and attend events. Smart brands leverage retailers on the ground in markets where they might not otherwise have a chance to connect with customers. This module looks into how to build your wholesale business and use it as part of a 360° sales strategy.
6.Exploiting e-commerceIn the digital age, e-commerce is a great medium to increase sales and build a brand at a phenomenal pace. Your website is the primary destination where the press, stylists, influencers, retailers, and customers engage directly with your business. How well you build your website could make or break your success. This module will discuss the basics and the must-dos for ensuring success in e-commerce.
7.Strategizing digital marketingYou have a website, a sales strategy, the product and the right price in place; now it’s time to hit the ground running and get in front of your customers. This module sheds light on paid and organic digital marketing. This module will also show you the best platforms you need to be on and how you can make the most of them to increase your customers and business.
8.Focus on direct marketingCustomers exist online and in person. On average, a person spends about five hours a day online, so there are another 19 hours when you can utilise direct marketing. So why do most marketers just focus on web marketing? They are missing out. Studies show customers need to interact with an average of six brand touchpoints before they buy. This module focuses on direct marketing to reinforce your brand.
9.Success mantras for CEOsBuilding an amazing company can only happen if you sharpen your skills to delegate, manage time, and get organised. This module shares secrets on how to effectively manage yourself and others. Your company culture starts with you — so don’t be your own worse boss!
